Lola Malu visits the doctor

My little girl is growing up so fast and it's now approaching the time to have her spayed. Today, we had our initial visit with the wonderful crew at Northshore Veterinary Clinic, conveniently located just minutes away, next to my neighborhood doughnut shop.

Northshore's waiting room is a bright, cheery, welcoming space with treats for both dogs and people. Lola was greeted by the four other dogs already there, as well as the staff. She weighed in at 58.8 lbs, and from there we went to the exam room.

Lola greeted Dr. Kiffney with her usual high energy, super-wiggly, tail-wagging hello, and the two quickly bonded. Lola's eyes and ears were checked, heart was checked, her teeth and her beautiful brown coat were checked, and we made sure her tail was checked since she wags it so much.

As expected, Lola is in perfect health and was given a green light to proceed with the spay procedure next week. I am so happy to have found the warm and charming folks at Northshore Vet Clinic, and I'm sure Lola is too.
