Swans snoozing

Saw the swans all lined up on the step today.  All nine cygnets have matured beautifully. They are gradually acquiring their white plumage. The parents have been attentive and one or other is never too far when giving them freedom. 
Late afternoon went around neighbourhood gathering more petition signatures.  Bumped into residents who recognised me from my school employment days.  It doesn't half make you feel old when you hear of them gaining BAHons at uni when your memory is still of an 11 year old!  Those cygnets have matured.
