Household Sewing

A busy day......appointments, shopping and sewing!
I bought a ‘throw’ for our sofas......which needed to be cut and stitched.....an economical solution!
As I sat stitching the long seams, using my sewing machine....
I wondered if a sewing machine belongs to an “age”......??
are Lady Blippers of a ‘certain age’, also owners of sewing machines?
using them for repairs, household maintenance.....’thrifty’ jobs?
Do the younger generations. ‘sew’ or ‘repair’ ?
