Feast For Finches

In the neighboring village there is an organic farmer who practices traditional three-field crop rotation but instead of letting some of the fields lie fallow he sows sunflowers, herbs, and grasses and leaves them untouched during winter. This means that right now zillions of finches and other birds are having the party of their lives in these fields.
