Flannel Flower and Lovely Rain

It's cold....it's raining....hoping enough rain to put out the fires that have been raging further south west...that were again lit by idiots ......(putting it mildly).

I have been waiting for my friend to get the flannel flowers in her shop....I am creating a flower book and for sure they need to be in it.
These gorgeous little white soft fluffy flowers with their green tips bring back so many memories of my life in Sydney...walking up to the Angophora forest with all the flannel flowers like little stars growing in and amongst those majestic trees...a very good pairing to say the least.

The chaos continues although its lovely and quiet without the fans now...the animals are also a lot happier...and finally we can cook at home. Still a long way to go before we can get back to normal though.
