A slow sooker.....

As predicted , yesterday’s calf that was born down the road hadn’t sucked the cow . So a bit of faffing around to bring them both home . Had to put the trailer on wee brother’s Landrover as the hill herd was away to the blackie tup sale at Stirling with mine. By the time we got them home and I had milked the cow and fed the calf it was lunch time. The joys.
A dry day but getting chilly tonight. The herd back having bought 5 tups from various farms. Still need more so it looks like they will need to go to the Lanark sale next week. More expense. It never ends !
