View to East Lothian

Forecast isn't very good, supposed to be heavy showers, so I decide not to head out on the bike. It is breezy as well. Rain showers not appearing, so I head for a walk across the Braid Hills to get afternoon coffee from the garden centre at Mortonhall. I can see the showers further south, and out to the west, but they seem to be dissipating. Ah well. The view east is taken from a point just east of the main high point of the hills. Craigmillar Castle is on the left, Bass Rock in the centre, and North Berwick Law is to the right.

I have a nice cake and coffee at the garden centre, so I opt to walk home on the path behind Buckstone.
