It's 1980 Again

After a quiet day at home we were out this evening in Aylesbury to see Midge Ure live. Called the 1980 Tour - Visage and Vienna, the set was largely made up from the Ultravox album Vienna and the eponymous Visage album released in 1980. Both bands and albums featured Midge Ure songs and performances. 

For the Visage tracks Midge was joined on stage by DJ, songwriter and original Visage drummer, Rusty Egan. Forever associated with the Blitz club and the start of the New Romantics, Rusty also did a slightly bizarre (but entertaining) support slot featuring music and a bit of story telling! The main event was however Midge Ure who put in a great performance and had the crowd on the feet in the all seated venue.
