Sweet Relief.
When I got up this morning it was only 20 degrees, there was a light breeze and it felt blissfully cool ahhhh such a relief!
It was so good to feel cool again, when the temperature reaches 40 you do feel your body go into a heat stress mode even if you haven't had to go outside much into the blast of it and its a wonderful relief when that is gone.
Jake seemed a lot better and was itching to get outside and because it had cooled right down we went on a leisurely stroll. As we passed the lake I had to hold him back because the Swan Family were there.
He really didn't want to stop and although he usually responds to the word 'wait' he wasn't hearing it today! So although I took about 10 shots they were mostly blurred as he was jerking on the lead!
I was so happy to see them as they haven't been around since we got back. This is one of the adults and one of the 'babies' although the baby is now as big as the adult but not quite totally black yet. They are really beautiful creatures.
When I yelled out wait a couple of times they both looked over at me and glared as if to say who do think you are asking us to wait, and get that dog away from here!
I think the medication that Jake is on is having the desired effect. He was much brighter today and didn't cough once during or after our walk. That's another very big relief :0)
