Emergency!

After visiting my friend Barb and getting her settled in, I left to go back home. Barb's rash seems to be a reaction to an antibiotics used when her nine teeth were removed--at least NOT shingles. But her breathing and A-fib and blood pressure were all not real good...hopefully with a change in meds things will calm down.

But as I was on the way back I got a call from Big R saying he had fallen and was being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital emergency room. After dropping off the dogs and then finding out exactly where he was, I headed to the ER. Seems like his right upper thigh has some tendon and ligament tears and muscle bruising...he didn't have and head issues. Some guy behind him had broken the fall which saved R from having his head hit the ground too. After they immobilized his leg and gave him crutches, I brought the car over and we gingerly loaded him in. Quite a sights...the two of us! He's resting now and the pain has decreased as the meds and ice have increased.

NOT a day to be repeated. AS things are quite busy and challenging around here the blipping will be sporadic and the commenting more so
