Bathurst architecture #8

This is Abercrombie House, one of Bathurst’s big old mansions. Built in 1870s by the pioneers the Stewarts from guess where? Scotland of course. It is currently owned by the Morgan family who are doing it up. They live there as their family home and have regular tours.

I had a great day showing my cousin around Bathurst while her husband and grown up son are enjoying the car races. They are Ford fans so will be pleased Scott McLaughlin won in number 17. Congratulations to the kiwis who came first and second.
