Ted for Mayor!

Ted and I went to meet our friend Jayne at Accrington Town Hall. She is the remaining women's Mayors Attendant in Lancashire since I retired 18 months ago. She works for Hynburn Council.

Ted couldn't resist sitting on the Jabot (that's the white thing under him). The robe still has the ermine fur on it which is unusual as a lot of the mayoral robes have had it taken off to be replaced by false fur. Ermine is fur from a stoat.

We had a nice lunch together and a good gossip.
