More Natural Colours

Autumn produces some wonderfully natural, bright colours and this morning, on the way back from Tadcaster, I stopped to photograph this bracken.

I tried to include the range of colours from green to yellow to brown and by using a small(ish) aperture I got one layer of fronds in focus with a slightly blurry layer of colour underneath.

It was pouring with rain (and looks set to continue all day) so this was about the only chance of an outdoor blip today. The colours are enhanced as the fronds were rather wet.
