Yesterday this was green.

Our council has aquired a reputation for, "If it's green chop it down". In it's attempt to improve the look of the northern approach to the town and the entrance to the crematorium, an area of trees and greenery has been almost totally removed. We will have an attractive (ie cheaply built) hotel, a wonderful branch of one of the mutiple restaurant chains and finally a glorious Sainsbury petrol station. Oh joy, I can hardly wait.
