end of the Jacaranda season....

I missed the full bloom of the Jacaranda's in Lusaka while I was in Eastern province.  Most of the beautiful purple flowers have already fallen off the trees but on a walk this afternoon I passed this one!

Went to church this morning at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka - was a really nice service with traditional and Zambian culture mixed up!  It was only 3 hours long!  Afterwards I went for lunch with a friend!  

And it was great when I came home because we had electricity - its been off since last night!  I have come to the conclusion its better to have a little electricity every day than none at all!!!
