Sudden Sunshine

It wasn't forecast, as far as I remember, but suddenly this afternoon the sun came out. And stayed out! (Very windy, though!) But, with dinner slow-cooking in the oven, we grabbed our chance for a walk. Blue sky shone in the numerous puddles (see my Extra), and caught this broad branch of my favourite ivy-clad oak, accentuating its lovely texture. After days on end of incessant rain and gales, it was so good to be outdoors and looking across green fields to a deep blue sea.
