So what else do you do on a wet sunday

Actually it never did get done as I found more exciting things to do!!!

spent some of the afternoon cooking dinner, "Burns Night Stew with  Dumplings" from the Jamie Oliver "Veg" cookbook. well all I can say is that it was 'different' I have never had pickled onions in a stew before, along with Guinness. It needs a bit of tweaking for my taste, ie more gravy, less pickled onions and dumplings made with suet not just flour and butter,  then it might be better next time.

It rained all day even in the afternoon the sun was shining and it was still raining. It's stopped now so hope tomorrow is a bit dryer.
