Autumn in Sunriver’s Meadow

The girls and the boys left this morning, and, as always, the house was sadly quiet. We busied ourselves with cleaning and laundry and then running a few errands. When all the “work” was done we took a drive down to the meadow to check out the Fall colors. Afterward we went to dinner at the same place we were at last night. In fact, a man came up to us and asked us if we were there last night with two tall blondes and four little boys. We must be memorable. Haha.
Grateful today that only three significant things happened over the weekend. A hole was knocked in the wall by a door being hit hard. Gus locked a toy he badly wanted that didn’t belong to him in a bedroom with no key. And Watson fell off the barstool (too high for him) and got a good bump on his head. We are laughing about it all now as we sit in a quiet calm house. I’m sure there will be many more memories as time goes on.
