Elf and Safety
Or The Story of the Ex-Seesaw
About 4 years ago child#3 lost a chunk off the end of his finger in the springs of this seesaw. One of those times where you think that he shouldn't have done it nor been able to do it. As the seesaw moved up, it left a toddler finger sized hole in the spring which then disappeared as the seesaw went down. Rather efficient for causing damage to toddler fingers!
The best bit was the A&E doctor tugging on the nail and then the flap of skin to see if it was going to come off...
It was fenced off for a bit afterwards but back in use until a few weeks ago. I presume it's been chopping again.
