Passing Through
I probably won't get anymore hummers migrating after today - well, it's unlikely. This is a male broad-billed hummer. He kept looking straight at me as he perched and sipped for a bit. It's hard to see his unique orange bill because of the angle but his vivid colors caught in the sun are pretty awesome.
I'm caught up with my blips, at least for now. I posted three earlier. If nothing else, it would be nice of you to look at this one. The photo is a black-chinned hummer but I've shared what I consider to be an unusual Zippy anecdote from the day mom passed away. Thanks.
