Wednesday Backblip
I hosted the Canasta game today. It was a perfect day for cards - wet and windy. For lunch I cooked Rindsrouladen (beef olives) with bread dumplings and a cucumber salad. This is Hubby's favourite so he will have the leftovers tomorrow when he comes back from Vienna. I had a very poor day card wise and the dessert was not so good, either. I made a pudding from quinces and panettone served with mascarpone. It should have been delicious but the quinces were obviously not ripe enough as they were very astringent. Everyone ate the dessert but they were probably just being polite.
