Flying High at the Fair

Dear Diary,

Yesterday turned out to be a perfect autumn day for fair going.  It has been many years since I went to the Sandwich Fair and my, my how it has changed.  The exhibition halls and livestock barns were the same but the number of concessions has tripled at least.  It was super crowded too, which isn't to my tastes, but the energy and laughter of the children was well worth it.  So were the animals.  Two of the carnival rides, this one and the carousel, were really quite beautifully designed and looked like they were from another century.  Actually, the fair started in 1910.  This scene won the blue ribbon for me.  (You couldn't get me up there for love nor money!)  I've added two extras of a sleepy goat and a beautiful veggie display from a local farm.
