Wild Clematis

Autumn exposes so many wonders that we don't notice in high summer because the brightly coloured extraverts of the garden saturate our attention.  These sculptural wild clematis are climbing all over the far wall of the garden.  We got up close and personal with them because we have been hauling out their neighbouring acacia and reclaiming the walled bed behind.  Two full trailer loads meant two trips to the dump; first one of which was manically busy or as one Frenchman commented to us "loco".
