Burnham Deepdale

I woke at about 7.30 and rolled straight out of bed into my wellies and onto the bank to catch high tide at 7.45. Not a soul about except for a couple of wildfowlers on the marsh. A flock of curlews warbled past and squadrons of geese made for the fields inland. Then silence. I headed back for some breakfast and started on a bit more sorting (what the hell do you do with encyclopaedias these days?) and then popped over to the neighbours https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2564208101301421912 for a coffee. I eventually popped back out again after dark!
