River Spey, Aviemore

I caught the bus in Perth and friend L. joined me at Birnam for a trip up to Aviemore just for a change of scenery.  We were so lucky with the weather, which had started off very foggy but cleared up to give a lovely day for our walk in the Forest Park.

Before that, we had a stroll down to the River Spey where I took this photo, but the riverside walk we had intended to do there was blocked off, possibly for repairs to the path.

Bus back late afternoon and TJ met me at Broxden and we went for a meal out.  A really lovely day away!  A couple of extras which will be familiar to anyone who knows the area.
