Thanksgiving Day

Today was the Canadian Thanksgiving Day - so Montreal city centre was quiet with a lot of shops and restaurants closed. A proper holiday.
We discovered that the Mccort Museum was open and visited in the morning , followed by a walk up and down Mont Royal this afternoon to enjoy the autumnal colours and the view of the city.
We’ve used the city bikes a bit ( like last year ) to get around the town but have not yet ventured into these powered scooters which you can hire. A lot of folk use them - to me they look like a death trap as you are using them in open traffic (albeit in cycle lanes). Great fun I’m sure but not for me.
