Sheep
They stand on the grass and then this stuff called the sea arrives and they just stand there with a vague sense of disbelief on their faces. It gets deeper and deeper and still they stand there until eventually panic sets in and they make for the nearest land. This one needed to swim a short stretch, something that doesn't seem to come naturally to them.
We used to worry and phoned the local crofter. We now watch with a bemused smile.
