Sliding

Another hot, summery day today. We started off slow just pottering at home, then after lunch headed down to the beach for a swim in the incoming tide.

This evening, we went over to Grandma and Daddad's place for New Year's dinner with the other part of the family there too. Still a glorious hot evening when we got there, so the kids joined their cousin out on the slip and slide. They had a grand old time out there.

Finished the evening with a dead car, the AA thinks it is the battery, so instead of going straight to work, as there is now an amber light on the dash, I'll have to call out the mobile mechanic to see if he can sort it for me in the morning. Damned car!
