Jet!

After heavy rain during the night the day started on a misty drizzly note!
Had a good mooch about Whitby, charming small town with lots of interesting ginnels or as we would call them up north “closes « 
We climbed the 199 steps up to the Abbey and St Mary’s Church, there’s was many people doing the same with different degrees of pace & interesting to listen to the various wisps of conversation...... :)

We had popped into theJet Museum fascinating to learn about this gem which is actually wood! From the Monkey Puzzle tree many many many years ago!! Blip is the largest price of jet found in the last twenty years 21 for long it’s on display in the museum! Fascinating indeed!!
Fish n chips for dinner ......rude not to!! Delicious !
