The Morning After

Have you ever seen a happier bride?  Here she is with her father on the right, and my beloved on the left.  The bride and her new husband each march to different drummers and feel fortunate to have found each other.  Needless to say, the wedding was a little quirky, but very enjoyable and the happy couple was thrilled with the day.  

My husband and the bride's father were roommates in medical school and he has known both of her parents since college.  The wedding was held at a country inn in rural Virginia, about an hour from our home.  We opted to stay over at the inn so we didn't have a late-night drive home.  This gave us the opportunity to visit with the wedding couple and families the next morning over brunch before everyone headed out.  This was our fourth wedding in as many months and each one has been very different.  We have four more to look forward to next year...so far.
