My writing corner

Well, this is not so much a “room with a view” as a corner of our living room, which I have colonized.
 
Received an email this morning from an academic wanting permission to use a photo I had on a blog in 2010, some years before Blipfoto.
 
This caused some frantic searching through my chaotic filing system to find a higher definition image for book publication.
 
Fortunately I found it stored on an old computer that should have gone years ago to the dump.
 
By the time I get around to upgrading my computer it is usually worthless- except my last laptop went to a charity in Africa though I have no idea if it ever reached them.
