What a Difference a Daughter Makes

After a pretty crappy night's sleep and an upsetting morning, I was tired, grumpy, and down in the dumps on my way home from work.
Daughter - "Do you want to take the dogs out when you get back?"
Me - "Sure". (Head thinking, "not really")
It worked.
She's a genius.
