Tate

Today I took the children (apart from Rose) on a school trip to Tate Britain. One of my favourite places is the 1840 room there full of Pre-Raphaelite paintings. We then walked to Tate Modern, through Extinction Rebellion at Millbank. We got stopped before we went over a bridge and questioned quite thoroughly by a very nice policeman about who were were, where we were going, where we were from etc to see if we were protesters. I think he thought we were because I had children who were not at school. The number of police there was quite something. And at Tate Modern. I'm not sure what I think of it all but it does seem sad to use up all that police time.
