Fungi in the Woods

The light was good this afternoon so I managed a spot of time out to catch some fungi I'd seen the other day. Not quite in the best condition now but it was interesting using my phone and the Olympus app as shutter release. I needed a bit more time to relax into it but I had a judging commitment and needed to get back to prepare.

Judging was ok but not my best performance - the club members were not very interactive and a good judging session depends on a bit of 'feedback'. Also I had a lot of prints to get through (67) so there's no time for more than a basic critique and a score.

I'd left a judge with the same position at my own club with 74 images to get through. This is the first time for a very long time we had so many entries so I can't say I'm unhappy about that. Good times ahead.
