The Weather is Changing

Well, we've had a glorious run of lovely fall days here in Portland. Managed to get a game of golf in this morning followed by a myriad of getting-ready-for-vacation errands. Don't you sometimes feel like it takes so much time and energy to get ready for vacation that you REALLY need it by the time you leave home? 

Regardless, it was a lovely morning, warm, but we could see the clouds moving in. Tomorrow rain. I caught this image of the sun lighting up the dogwood tree in my yard. I just can't seem to get enough of the gorgeous colors this fall!

My sister-in-law arrives tonight from Santa Fe, where she lives. We're flying together to Portugal on Friday...it'll be nice to have a visit before we embark on our journey.
