Black and white

Meetings all morning and another mid afternoon. I was able to attend the meetings as JJ returned this morning to take up a locum appointment covering the absent consultant, meaning that I could focus on the other parts of my job. Some interesting developments perhaps.

Fought the headwind all the way home on my bike, and then went to Western Springs fo a walk with the Pentax. Only three spoonbills in their tree, and sharing with a group of shags. On appears to have some white on it suggesting that these could be a group of immature little pied shags as they can be completely black before becoming pied. Alternatively, they may actually be Little black shags. They were too far away and with beaks hidden from my view, so I can't tell which they are.
