Dartmouth higher ferry after dark

What a busy day! Out the door at 7a.m. and not home till nearly 6p.m. Lots of errands to do, amongst which we managed to 'do lunch', enjoy a lovely walk along Paignton sea front (in sunshine!), and went to see Life of Pi in 3D. Very impressive special effects, and did justice to the book.

By the time we emerged it had gone dark. The car ferry was the other side of the river on the Dartmouth bank when we arrived, thus allowing a blipportunity while we waited. Here it is, all lit up and heading across to the Kingswear side. The red-white-red set of lights on its roof announce that it is a vessel restricted in its ability to manoeuvre.
