pete's olive tree...

...is finally flowering!

 Neighbour P has planted his verge with all sorts including a bountiful lemon tree, rampaging rocket, parsley and thyme which he is very happy to share.
The olive tree has been thriving for a few years but not fruiting and as he said 'I was very close to resting an axe against it!'... but his Sicilian neighbour encouraged patience.
And hooooray! there will be a mighty crop this year...to go along with the many wonders in his garden including a coffee bush that produces a few kilos of beans each year to harvest and roast for the morning brew.
