Albatross

I was out on the last stage of the Templer Way walk today with the local walking group.  We walked from the quay at Newton Abbot along the River Teign all the way to Shaldon where the local ferry was caught to Teignmouth.  A rather slippery walk but with some interesting views along the estuary.  We stopped for lunch at a riverside pub where a birthday cake was brought out to celebrate the walk leaders birthday.  Glad the weather held out, no rain a little sun and still fairly warm.
