a pop of color...

...in the woods

there’s nothing like - taking a walk - then stumbling upon - a couple of logs which - contain a wonderful - pop of surprising color - it is the unexpected - that can bring us - the most delight - on a day when we - are thinking we’ll get nothing - when we have no expectations - we simply greet the day - with open arms - saying give me whatever - and leave it at that

and then lookit - what happens - you just ‘sort of’ stumble over - a very precious spot - of color in the midst - of nature - now that’s what i tend to call...
