Taste of Winter
It was decidedly Baltic overnight and almost frosty in the campsite but we could see the clear skies coming from the north-west. We drove round to Sexten and up a wee road so we could walk up to the Drei Zinnen Hütte to see the hills of the same name from the north. It was a pleasant walk up a shadowy glen and it was very cold; eventually we got into the sun at about the snow line and it warmed up nicely. The end of Yesterday’s rain had fallen as snow in the hills so there was a slight cover that added to the landscape. The blip is a view of some other hills with autumnal vegetation in the foreground. We had our lunch by the hut and then went up a wee hill to the north that had great views in all directions. The extra is a few shots of winter and the hills.
Yesterday’s blip.
