Peaceful

I'd planned to take a photo of a baby sleeping in a pram or a commuter asleep on the train for today's photo but alas London is wide awake today so I was sitting on the train on the way home from work looking for some inspiration for 'peaceful' and saw the picture of this little boy who looked so peaceful. Then I saw what it was for and though how unpeaceful his life must be and the torment he and his family must go through on a daily basis trying to do something so simple - communicate with one another.

I once did a drama workshop where I played a deafblind person amongst able-bodied people. I was blindfolded and had to learn the sign alphabet for a deafblind person. Although it was only for two hours and I could of course hear what was going on around my, it gave me just a glimpse into the life that is faced and the difficulties deafblind people and their friends and family deal with every day.
