Gone fishin'

An early start this morning for JJ's annual eye appointment the other side of Cambridge.  The A14 is being upgraded and the traffic delays are unpredictable but we did make it in an hour and a quarter.

Following that we headed back to Madingley to the Park and Ride and just like kids we managed to get front seats on the upper deck for the ride into the city centre. 

It was a glorious morning and after taking a few shots for the Camera School project we headed down to the river for a walk along the Backs before making our way back to Loch Fyne for lunch.

We ordered a Cod loin each with chips and mushy peas.  Unfortunately their delivery hadn't arrived and so it would have to be French fries and garden peas, which I was not happy about.  I expressed my disappointment very politely but ordered anyway.  The bill came with a 50% discount and a voucher, to be used within a month, with 25% off.

I think this man was catching his own, fish that is.

The extra is of a dog that kept going into the water and fetching three sticks at a time that its owner threw in.
