Llareggub

Today we had a drive through the local country lanes and ended up in Fishguard before heading back via the hills.

Part of Fishguard Bay there is this little quayside. It is called Lower Town but some may remember it as being the location of the 1971 film Under Milk Wood starring O’Toole, Burton and Taylor. 

The book and film called this village Llareggub. Welsh is hard to pronounce or understand sometimes. In this case it helps to read the name backwards to get the true meaning....
