Train spotting

On today's bike ride there was a chap with a camera waiting at a bridge for a train to pass beneath.  You quite often see steam trains on the Hellifield line, so I waited a moment to see what was coming.  I was a bit disappointed when this trundled past, but apparently there's something special about it (the motor unit was painted silver?)
