Abstract texture

Had a lovely mid afternoon meal at Yvonne and Robs, friends we have known for 38 years. Yvonne is a very good cook and we have named her the Quiche Queen. Today she made a very tasty courgette and tomato quiche. The dessert was a lovely apple and almond pudding. They grow all their own produce, although not perhaps the almonds.

We drove home in the rain and the lanes are flooded. So far every day in October there has been rain.

I decided to join in the Abstract Thursday challenge with the theme of textures. My blip is more textile as it is a section of a big linen cushion that I made some time ago,
