Keeping up with the big guys!

I met a colleague from work with her 2 Labradoodles at Reigate Priory Park, one of my regular places for Walkies. Straight away we were both approached by a council worker waving his badge asking us to put the dogs on leads. Apparently there was a sign somewhere to say dogs had to be on leads in certain areas in the park. First I knew of it!!

Anyway, it was nice to chat to Vanessa. We work together on a Monday and actually, Vanessa was the supervisor who used to take my troubled little friend Jasmine till see her mum way back 15 years ago!!! But we mostly chatted about dogs rather than work and I worked on Bellas jealousy of me stroking other dogs. Vanessa's 2 are as docile as anything so good subjects to work on.

In the afternoon, the foam I ordered for Bellas car bed arrived so I made a cushion cover for it from an old thick towel, mended a strap and sewed poppers onto the vet bedding so it could be used as the back rest as she does tend to lean against the back seat part. She looked quite thrilled with it once it was finished and it was nice to get the old sewing machine back out!!!
