Forest road

As the pace of forest extraction picks up again there are new forest roads opening up.   They look very raw in the landscape at first but nature eventually softens the edges and then - over time - absorbs them , sometimes completely.

PS Just noticed that Blipfoto is 15 years old today.   Many of us find it difficult, I am sure, to remember a time when we didn't participate, daily in this community.   Thanks to the founders and particularly Joe - they put a lot in and sometimes had a rough ride.   But their enthusiasm and vision ,and  the efforts of the volunteer team that now run it, have allowed so many of us to share and learn.
