Highs and lows

Didn’t sleep well, so a bit groggy in the morning and skipped breakfast. We set off on the disco bus to Waterloo uni where we had a brilliant session on their ‘co-op’ model of education (alternate semesters in uni and paid work/internships). Very inspiring speakers and discussion. Impressive stuff.
Over to McMaster (here’s the founding senator on a bench in the leafy grounds) where we had lunch (with wine!) in an old fashioned faculty club with very different speakers and content. We were dying.....not a great afternoon although it bonded us!!
Long drive back to Toronto and I fell asleep on the bus before out for another steak dinner. Again great chat and warmth amongst the group and plans for a Niagara Falls visit on Saturday.
