A successful mission to Kendal this morning. A few items were purchased and my husband had a much needed haircut. 

I had a walk planned for the afternoon but a forecast of rain made me head to Rydal Hall instead of up a hill. I expected to post another autumn colour blip but instead here are two lions. 

In July I treated myself to a new camera. Then other events got priority and I've had very little chance to get out by myself and play with it. After today's outing I think I know what all the knobs and buttons do. Some tweaking of settings is needed.  There were too many rejects today.
